Features of the module that has been developed
Multiple categories of products
You can categorize your products into multiple sections for easier product
navigation. The categories will be displayed one by one in the left
side and the bottom of each page. The customer can view all the products
under every category. All products will be listed with paging.(5 products
per page)
Unlimited number of products
Any number of products can be added. For easy navigation they could
be listed under categories. The full product image and the thumbnails
can be added for a full view and a quicker view. Products can have two
prices, for example, a listed price and a discounted price.
Simple
administration panel.
There is a complete password protected administrator panel for managing
categories and products. The images can be previewed immediately. Categories
can also have images.(for example if your selling computer peripherals
then you can add a computer image along with the category name to display
it in the homepage.
Buyers login and registration system
New buyers will be asked to register (in case he hasn't done that already
somewhere else in the site) and will get a username and password to
log in. This generates a cookie, valid only for the session, which enables
the visitor to download all the items of his choice from different areas
in the site and then pay it all together at the end.
Catalog browsing by categories
Products under each category can be viewed. A page by page display has
been provided for easy navigation.
Product search by keywords
A powerful keyword search is included to make it easy to find the products.
The products, which are matching with the keywords, will be displayed.
In case of more than one product that meets the search criteria, they
will be listed based on volumes sold, with the most popular items being
listed first.
Highlighting of products with product promotions
To highlight some products, all you need to do is to choose the items
and they will be displayed one per day in a rotation.

There is a section for new arrivals, which will help you inform the
users about the latest products that have been added to the site.
Buyers rating on products
Registered buyers can rate on any product in the site on a 1 to 5 point
of scale.

This is a facility to add customers' review on any product along with
the rating. This can help other users to get the idea about the products.

The top sellers of each category will be shown in the home page of the
site.
