How to Develop an Online Course

A step-by-step guide to developing online courses.

Objective
At the end of this tutorial you will be able to convert a simple paper course/seminar into an online course/seminar.

Prerequisites

  1. HTML programming or use of an HTML editor like Macromedia Dreamweaver 3
  2. Image editing and optimizing skills (if using graphics). Eg. Macromedia Fireworks 2 and Adobe Image Ready.
  3. FTP software to transfer files after development to the hosting server. Eg. WS FTP, Dreamweaver Site Manager etc.
  4. Server space on a remote hosting server.
  5. A URL registered with INTERNIC (cost $70/-)
